The opening session will start on Monday, December 4th 2006, and will lead to the technical sessions the next day. To facilitate the registration process, registration desks will open on Sunday 3rd December 2006 at the Conference Venue.

A pre-conference workshop is scheduled for December 4th 2006. The conference dinner (complimentary for all registered participants) will be held on the evening of December 6th 2006 at the conference venue. An exciting Field excursion is scheduled for 8th December 2006.

The programme will consist of:  

• Main sessions (oral, movie and poster presentations).
• Roundtables, panal discussions, special events and pre/post conference workshops.
• Social programme, and  
• Conference excursion to the Knuckles Conservation Forest

An exciting social programme is planned. There will be opportunities for networking and discussions in a relaxed atmosphere or even during a quiet walk at the confenrece venue.
