Foreign participants presenting papers
The conference organizers are doing their best to obtain sponsorship for the participants in the non-Sri Lankan category whose abstracts are selected - to cover air travel and accommodation. As sponsorship cannot be guaranteed, participants are encouraged to explore sponsorship on their own and to regularly check the donor update site on the conference webpage for possible sponsors. Please note that direct offers to the organizers from sponsors will be forwarded to presenters based on registration order. Therefore please register early to avail of such opportunities.
Sri Lankan participants presenting papers
Conference accommodation and all meals will be sponsored by NSF for Sri Lankan participants presenting papers.
Sri Lankan participants not presenting papers
Concessions will be given on the registration fee for one (non-presenting) participant each for local conference sponsors. (contact Ms Anusha Amarasinghe: anuama@nsf.ac.lk)
On-site registration
Registration may be possible for local participants at the conference venue from 3rd December 2006 if space permits, but please note that all such participants will be expected to arrange their own accommodation and travel.
Student participants and observers
To qualify for the reduced "student" registration fees for non-Sri Lankan participants, students should contact Ms Anusha Amarasinghe (e-mail: anuama@nsf.ac.lk; phone: +94 112 675842) and fax her (Fax: +94 112 694754) the relevant documentation as valid proof of their current student status, signed by their post graduate degree supervisor or head of a relevant Department of the University they are attending.
Sri Lankan students registering to make presentations should present valid documentation about their current student status, signed by their post graduate degree supervisor or head of the relevant Department of the University they are attending for sponsorship by NSF for attending the Conference.
