We are pleased to inform you that the above scheme has been set up in memory of Mr Michel Batisse. This scheme enables to recognize efforts to manage biosphere resources in line with the recommendations of the Seville Strategy and reward periodically. This was a decision made at the MAB ICC meeting in 2005.
